A Genetic Solution
Love is not forensic at all
but something into which we fall.
I am sure all of us have heard of
the phrase we call falling in love.
It is not like falling from grace
or a carbuncle on your face.
It’s more important than these;
more like the cat who ate the cheese
and with baited breath awaited
the mouse he anticipated.
Erotic love – as sure as death –
also results in bated breath.
