Love Defined
What is spirituality;
is my soul the best part of me?
Is it only self-consciousness?
Perhaps it offers happiness
which is just a by-product of
acting in a spirit of love.
We may need new definitions
to clarify our own visions.
Love is very hard to define
like comparing water to wine.
Can we measure love on a scale?
Such definitions seem to fail.
It is not only good intent;
we can love those who we resent.
