I Have No Time to Die
If it is impossible to die,
will there be anyone left to cry?
How can you hear a funeral march
while you are feeling so full of starch?
It is too difficult for me
to rest in a cemetery.
If death happens to come around
i will remain hidden–unfound.
Interstices of the universe
will spit on death and make him feel worse.
I am the one who relaxes
ignoring both death and taxes.
If there ever is an end to time
i’ll be trying to make it rhyme.
