There Is a Trend, My Friend
There is no beginning or end
but our lives have an upward trend.
Whether we can see it or not
our lives have improved a whole lot.
   I’m not saying you ought to know
   how i walked to school in the snow,
   or about cold and lonely nights
   before we had electric lights.
But how we should have gratitude
about how life styles have improved.
The world isn’t coming to an end
but getting happier my friend.
   And things will be even better
   if we work for this together.
