The Birth of Attitude
Is the imagination a violent sea
generating its own storms
on waves of galactic energy?

Do we posses or are we possessed by
these murmurings of the gods,
or make myths from reality?

Are we like pieces of bark
snatched by the tides from a placid shore;
tossed endlessly on waves of circumstance?

Or, do we generate our own
streams of consciousness
which glamorize our surroundings?
