Hear No, See No, Do No Evil
Poems shouldn’t tell us how we live
but teach us how we can forgive.
Never be revengeful, brother,
but learn to love one another.
Live a life of aspiration,
happiness, anticipation;
instead of a dungeon of gloom
and notice when the flowers bloom.
We can see what we want to see
and be what we want to be.
We live in a world of free choice,
our attitude can be our voice.
Let ev’ryone know you are coming
by hearing your cheerful humming.
