Camaraderie
Often alone but never lonely,
like the world was made for me only.
I love all these people i don’t need.
They’re like icing on my cake, indeed.
When i say, “I don’t need these others”
it says how much i love my brothers.
It isn’t about what they give me
and i know they’re always with me.
The thought of loneliness seems absurd;
there must be a more meaningful word
saying how glad i am you are here;
you are part of me–not only near.
I am in love with all of my friends
and that is where my loneliness ends.
