The Wellness Clinic
The pulse rate is only a part
of measuring a beating heart.
You measure the blood pressure too,
weigh the patient before you are thru.
Then you can send him out the door;
wonder why he fell on the floor.
All of his measurements were fine
in fact they are better than mine.
But, perhaps, consider his age
which couldn’t be measured with a gauge,
and the pain which he has endured.
His unmeasured death was assured.
He has been fully measured tho;
say good-bye and then let him go.
