Belonging Here
And if we really do belong
life is like a forgotten song
which we mumble under our breath
and keep mumbling until our death.
If all of the mistakes we’ve made
were as tasty as lemonade
we are apt to make some more;
that is what our mistakes are for.
They teach us that life is complex
like babies resulting from sex.
Comedy of errors may be
dependent on this mystery.
Innate tendency to blunder
is the burden we live under.
