Close Friends and Friendly People
The way one should live all depends
on how they have selected friends.
Were these people they could admire,
or set their sleeping hearts afire?
Were they people who they could trust
to be there whenever they must?
If you’re like me, you probably
lucked out on who your friends would be.
Like the partners with whom we dance
they’re largely a matter of chance.
It may depend on where you go,
churches, bars, or where hobbies grow.
Hermits may not have any friends.
As i have said, it all depends.
