The Dining Room
The fact which i do not want to face
is i am allergic to this place.
I do not know why it makes me sneeze
but i do not ever feel at ease.
It has a strange and unwelcome smell
from the rugs and draperies as well.
I do not really want to be rude
and say it may be the Yankee food.
No biscuits or Mexican corn bread;
vegetables overcooked and dead.
It has a very good salad bar
where the fresher vegetables are.
Whatever is making my nose drip
is why i am wearing a nose clip.
