The Present Is a Present
The contemporary cosmos
has resulted from time’s osmose,
strained by evolution’s slow grind
until it’s essence is refined.
This is not a stop or a start,
putting a horse behind a cart;
but recognizing a slow change
in eternity is not strange.
What was, is, and will always be,
the life of the cosmos for me.
Basic to my philosophy,
it’s the proof of eternity.
That’s why i have an attitude
of always present gratitude.
