Spirituality for U/Us

Creeds we call covenants,

Conspiracies are mutual beliefs.

A search for meaning may be

our spirituality.

Religion is really not

searching for what we have got.

If you can accept a creed

you are religious indeed;

but spirituality

means still in a search, and free.

What we have to understand,

religion means by command.

Having faith may be defined

as leaving our search behind.

If we think we know it all,

our need to search may be small.
