What kind of future lurks behind

a rational, sensitive mind?

A reborn, cosmic consciousness

recognizing life as endless.

As our mortal body decays

life goes on in other ways.

There is no beginning or end

forbidding our lives to extend.

The mind doesn’t die with the brain.

That shouldn’t be hard to explain.

Intangible things never die.

They are a part of you and i.

Eternity lies before us.

The future cannot ignore us.
