My formative years

were lived in the

great depression

of the nineteen thirties.

Franklin Roosevelt

was saving the system.

Our first black president

is now on the same path.

Neither saw the system

as the source of trouble.

But free enterprise

is the lack of system.

It creates the greed

which causes our wars.

Love and good intentions

are the untried solutions.
