See What I Saw

“The world is my idea” is not

all the philosophy i’ve got.

With tangible things around me

some physical facts astound me.

All the world is not a mirage

like the Rolls Royce in my garage.

I can face the world as it is

without an enlivening fizz.

My attitude can make it nice

without beef gravy on brown rice.

But it is a great thing to know

my ideas can make it be so.

Those ideas which become ideal

can be balanced by what is real.
