A Freedom to Love

I am a lone wolf

who loves people.

I feel a kinship

with a lone coyote

or an eagle

who seems to soar alone.

A small group discussion

lights a fire of camaraderie.

As i explore my thoughts,

distilled in isolation,

i feel a close kinship

to similar meditators.

Our varied differences

cement a bond of love.

And yet, i feel lost

in a crowd of sycophants

willing to go along

in order to get along.
