A Fond Good-bye, or Not
What is the body, after all?
Why is it subject to recall?
It is where our spirits evolve
and not problems we have to solve.
After its usefulness is gone
our souls and spirits carry on.
We develop fondness for it;
impossible to ignore it.
Can anyone live without it?
In evolving years we doubt it.
As our souls and spirits mature,
we can live without it for sure.
If we never become that sage
we feel betrayed and rant and rage.
