A Symptom Which Occurs

Is shivering, by design,

compatible with the spine?

Is it always a mistake

if other parts of you shake?

Associated with a chill

when you see the doctor’s bill.

He calls it senile tremor

you’re too old to remember.

It can happen when you sneeze

all the way down to your knees.

Eyes water – your nose drips.

You can feel it in your hips.

I don’t like to shiver, please.

It’s not really a disease.
