excitement is forever

will life in eternity

be only boring for me?

when my body turns to dust

my soul will live on as it must.

for only the body dies.

a fate which spirit denies.

so, in my eternity

my spirit will comfort me.

my spirit may not be missed

or even thought to exist,

if body is all i know.

but i know this isn’t so.

eternity is right now

and i’m excited somehow.
