The Id and Why it’s Hid

Is there somewhere in the id

a memory which we hid?

Was this hidden on purpose

because truth makes us nervous?

A bad truth which is concealed

may, in our dreams, be revealed.

Are our dreams saying to us

the truth may make us nervous?

In some of my dreams i fly;

but usually not high.

The tao may tell us why

we are born, only to die.

There are promises we keep

and discover when we sleep.
