Is Death Painful?

So death, wherein is thy sting

if all of us are dying?

None of us will die at once;

it may take us years or months.

We cannot anticipate

who can hurry up or wait.

If we commit suicide,

It’s up to us to decide.

If life doesn’t have purpose

our death may make us nervous.

If our spirit is alive,

our death may never arrive.

If we do not suffer pain,

we may never die again.
