Where God Lives

I think my spirit may be

the very best part of me.

Bodies on the other hand

is the part i understand.

The body will have to die

but the spirit says “Not i.”

I believe eternity

is reserved for God and me.

My spirit is one small part

of a great spiritual heart.

I know that God lives in me

and in the heart of a tree.

My God is everywhere.

in a spirit which we share.
