If we are born just to die,

it can make us wonder why.

Life cannot be so shallow.

Before it ends we shall know.

Life is always on the brink.

It can really go away,

Tomorrow if not today.

The Great Spirit sets the time,

We can only make it rhyme.

Consolation of our own

is that we are not alone.

One reason among others

that we should love our brothers.
