An Optimistic View

Can we change our attitude?

People often ask me this.

I will answer that we can.

If the news is good or bad,

depends on our attitude.

Optimists might conclude

i am glad the killing quits.

therefor his attitude fits.

Do you really want to be

a real optimist like me?

Pessimists don’t say “hooray.”

They think a different way.

The news was “the war is done.”

They thought the killing was fun.
