It’s Prolific–That’s All

I searched Google and found my name.

I didn’t find a claim for fame.

I started a blog of my own

but the poems are not well-known.

If you ever google me,

this is the first thing you will see;

an archive of my poetry.

That is what it is meant to be.

Google “Walt Abbott Poems” that’s all.

The archived list isn’t small.

It’s fifteen hundred or more,

but no one is keeping score.

I am glad to let you know

the archive is going to grow.
