Living from Day to Day

I live one day at a time

Each day i write a new rhyme.

Some days i may write two

if i have nothing else to do.

By living minute to minute

i might have more moments in it.

That might make the days longer.

and the poems may be stronger.

Naming a particle of time

does’t mean it has to rhyme.

A poem might not mean a thing

but something must be happening.

Whether that is true or not

is the part which i forgot.
