Alive in our Dreams

most of our dreams seem to be

just about Louise and me.

We get lost but we are found

with lots of people around.

We never dream we are dead.

We wake up in our own bed.

No matter how dark life seems,

love makes it light in our dreams.

I know other people dream

about such things as ice cream

or of being millionaires

in a world where no one cares.

Louise and i are in love

That’s what we are conscious of.
