What is Esoteric?

It’s restricted to you and me

by intellectuality.

Being restricted to a few

makes me wonder about you.

Often you seem to be crude;

Is that just my attitude?

In an esoteric clique

a loud-mouth may be unique.

Esoteric, a state of mind.

That may be a little unkind

with so many numbskulls around

very few of us are profound.

Please open and let me in.

I’d like to be like other men.

Being different ain’t a sin.
