A Voice from Beyond

Communication from afar;

perhaps beyond the nearest star,

is very likely to be

unrecognized by folks like me.

Someone far off may want to say.

“Let us communicate some way.”

But the distance from her star

is many light years too far.

Some way of changing the speed

may be the answer we need.

Perhaps they are talking too fast.

Time may be shrinking at last.

We may communicate with them

whenever she becomes a him.
