Remembrance of Things Past

I remember things i used to do

but i may not remember you.

I met you just a week ago.

My short time memory is low.

The things i do from day to day

are managing to slip away.

My long term memory is great

but nothing from a current date.

I remember dreams from the past

but last nights dreams will not last.

If you will just tell me again,

i’ll try to make your name remain.
