The Man who was not Jesus

The man who pretended to be

just another person, like me,

had an air which was charming

but his posture was alarming.

“Who do people say i am,

some kind of religious scam?”

“No! but you are the son of God.

not another pea in a pod.“

Tell them not to worship me:

follow my philosophy.”

That’s what the Buddha said

and now the Buddha is dead.

”Gods may live eternally;

as will my philosophy.“
