Cosmic Consciousness

Life is’t what it used to be.

It has always been kind to me.

I can’t help but wonder why

i am not afraid to die.

I think i am lucky because

i believe in natural laws.

Something is taking care of me.

I don’t think it is somebody.

A Great Spirit is what it is

and it isn’t hers or his.

Whatever a spirit may be

it isn’t a great mystery.

It’s something we’re conscious of

like God or a feeling of love.
