What Poems are About

Wonder and awe of our lives

and the spirit which survives

makes us wonder why we are here.

Sometimes the answers appear.

Some poems can tell us why

Spirits live but bodies die.

Some help us to understand

what spirit is in command.

Some don’t tell us anything.

Poems do not need meaning.

I write my poems for fun;

try to please everyone.

That’s why my subject matter

includes nonsense and laughter.
