Imagining the Future

After death what happens to me?

Many people will disagree.

Long after our bodies are dead

the future can still be ahead..

The future Martin Luther King

has a soul which is still living.

A spirit like his never dies

but is a symbol of the wise.

Our spirits always need more of

the spirit of brotherly love.

I only like, not love, cheese toast,

but love the Great Spirit most.

After death comes eternity,

and that is good enough for me.
