Honest Memoirs

The past is diminished now.

It’s less important somehow.

Right now seems be the time

to make past and future rhyme.

But right now i seem to be

losing short-term memory.

Whatever i do today

will be shortly passed away.

Anecdotes i write about

seem lacking in truth no doubt.

You can trust my honesty

but doubt short-term memory.

Yet, if your stories are true

You have lost memory too.
