Do You Remember?

I enjoyed riding on a train

with the scenery passing by

on a quick trip to anywhere.

Now they have removed the track

which made the wheels go clack clack.

The new trains are above ground

where new noises have been found.

I hear they have faster trains

in other, more romantic lands

riding on a cushion of compressed air.

They have eliminated all the

romantic sounds our trains used to make.

These new trains all have a crowd.

Romantic noises are not allowed.
