Bodies Do Die

Awareness of existence

causes living to make sense.

Consciousness of life may be

the purpose of life for me.

If we ask “Why are we here?”

the answers may not be clear.

As far as we are concerned,

life doesn’t have to be earned.

Our lives are a gift from god.

But, we are all born unshod.

To make the most of our lives

we become husbands and wives.

Our spiritual life goes on

after our bodies are gone.
