Yes! i Mean You

Is there insufficiency of

that good intent which we call love?

By looking where it can be found,

there is enough to go around.

Most of us mean it when we say,

“I hope you will have a nice day.”

But, perhaps, we really doubt it

or we fail to think about it.

Yet, every once in a while

we will express it with a smile.

You will know it is really meant

if i bother to put it in print.

Each poem which says “I love you”

lets you know that “I really do.”
