Is Poetic License Nonsense?

An add verse is a jingle

but the ds can’t be single.

Adverse is another word

which isn’t frequently heard.

Adverse means simply opposed

so that argument is closed.

People sometimes wonder why

English language cannot die.

Well, i think it is because

it has grammatical laws.

Words can mean different things

which have adverse meanings.

It depends on how they are used

for which poets may be accused.
