Cosmic Consciousness

Are there many folks like me

who believe in eternity?

I suspect many people are

aware that our sun is a star.

If they ever think about it,

they are inclined to doubt it.

They seem to live in a black hole

without a spirit or a soul.

They have no purpose for being

nor understand what they’re seeing.

It’s only i who have the gall

to believe that i know it all.
