Rascally Friends
The crows are not mad at me;
laugh at me with dignity.
Once a quite dignified crow
told me things i didn’t know.
I no longer have conceit
over crows who i may meet.
Ravens and starlings have been
as knowledgeable as men.
Sometimes these unwanted guests
will steal the other birds’ nests.
They will steal anything bright,
even stole my dream last night.
I cannot help but love them
despite the millions of them.
