Merged for Eternity

When the body is dying

our spirits continue flying.

Spirit isn’t sole but soul

and has no self-conscious role.

Individuals may die

as the body says goodbye.

but one Great Spirit may be

merged souls in eternity.

There’s no more self-centered id

where individuals are hid.

Cosmic consciousness will be

a much higher destiny.

The individual is gone

but the Great Spirit carries on.
