Laugh, or at least Smile

On the edge of comprehension?

It may not be my intention.

I don’t want to be obscure

or purposefully immature.

By skirting around syntax

i want to help you relax.

If my poems seem meaningless,

such freedom brings us happiness.

If you take life too seriously,

you may not understand me.

I consider nonsense fun

and that’s exactly what i’ve done.

If you laugh at or with me;

either will make me happy.
