Caring Indifferently

Is there a memory

after the body dies?

Does only a spirit

recall the past?

When the body is dead,

the brain goes with it.

Thoughts and ideas change

but their life goes on.

Individual souls

merge into one Great Spirit

as part of eternity;

unselfish at last.

God may care about me

but not separately.
