Rebirth or Awakening

There is a thrilling kind of fun

when two hearts react as one.

This happiness seemed to be

constant with Louise and me.

Although Louise is now dead

we remember the life we lead.

In dreams we are together.

and still in love forever.

There are things which do not die.

Last night i asked Louise why.

This is what my lover said:

“Only my body is dead.

In my spirit i’m still alive,

waiting for you to arrive.”
