I Can’t Get Up

Why am i laying on the floor

in a busy grocery store?

Hallucination aint too bad

unless i think i’m going mad.

And even then, i may not be

on the verge of insanity.

If i think i have lost my mind,

it shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Alzheimers is all the rage

after we pass a certain age.

A feeling of uncertainty

with people looking down at me;

What are all of these people for?

To help me get up from the floor.
