Arrogant but Humble

Some of my poems seem to be

expressing my humility.

But, some of them are arrogant.

I want to be both, but i can’t.

Whenever arrogance appears

i try to wash it out with tears.

But my hubris won’t go away

because i believe in what i say.

My readers may think i am odd;

talking like a spokesman for God.

I have this strange philosophy:

I think God is talking to me.

With a duty to pass it on;

where has my humility gone?
