All Three Can be Me

I thought i came in two parts;

that was all there was to me.

That is where my journey starts

but now i find there are three.

One part is material,

a body which lives and dies.

Second is etherial;

the third one is a surprise.

Third is a fun-loving elf

which is often in disguise.

It’s this third part of myself

which seems to me to be wise.

The second, spiritual, role

always nourishes my soul.
