An Age-old Lament

Life has been a lot of fun

Now i have reached ninety-one.

I may have become unsexed.

I wonder what’s coming next.

Am i losing my memory?

I think it is harder to see.

Will there be more problems ahead
before this old body is dead?

I have lost some of my parts

and may have broken some hearts.

But, i can say with a smile,

“I want to live for awhile.”

While fun may have diminished,

my life is not yet finished.
